Do we like Red, or what?
This
is a Sand Sprite III that was the FIRST blow thru turbo seen at Silver
Lake. Shown here in street trim shortly after the Body was put on and a
1st Place Win at the Autorama Car Show in Detroit.

A couple of pics of the ORIGINAL (copied several times out west)
DUNE BUS. This big buggy started out as a way to transport groups of
people out to the dunes to watch "Saturday Nite at the Zoo".
This was fast paced racing 10 to 12 abreast on the Flats". We
sometimes took Battery Powered Lights to starts the Drags. Powered with a
Type IV engine with a small Turbo Blowing Thru a single Delorto carb.
Plenty of power to carry 10 Adults up test hill.
A 2165cc Turbo Engine waiting to find a good home. Originally planned for
the Mid Engine Baja Convertible.
This is a Fiberglass Body that I produced back in the Fiber Glass Days in the
70's. These next couple of Pics are Bodies we were producing at the same
time. A Chopper Gun and 55gallon quantities of Resin filled up the
shop. The smell was terrible.
Now a pic of a Body I hand Laid in my garage near the dunes. A HUGE
MISTAKE. Living quarters upstairs-the odor lasted about 2 weeks and
about killed me.

After we produced a Bradley Clone, I bonded the top to the main body with
fiberglass and bondo, followed by my first paint job. Cadilac Blue that
turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself.
